The BISTÅ Center is a non-profit organization that offers individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Services. ABA, which has been endorsed by the U.S. Surgeon General, is the leading research-based treatment recommended for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
The BISTÅ Center offers individualized treatment packages that are based on initial and ongoing assessments. Treatment packages include individualized skill acquisition programming, problem behavior reduction, parent training, and a specific team dedicated to supporting your child in reaching their goals. The BISTÅ Center currently offers a Kindergarten Readiness Program to prepare kids under six to attend their local schools. Clients participating in this program work to address individual needs with 1:1 services and learn the skills required to be successful in a school setting. The program offers limited space to clients with and without a diagnosis. The BISTÅ Center also offers social groups for kids at various ages during after school hours. This BCBA led group has a specific curriculum to address various social skills struggles
The BISTÅ Center will work with families every step of the way, offering financial assistance, verifying and coordinating benefits with insurance companies, and family collaboration about treatment priorities. In addition to client based services The BISTÅ Center also provides community trainings and school consultation.
