Village Inn - Stapley
In 1958 the first Village Inn Pancake House opened in Denver, Colorado. Soon after in 1961 the first franchise opened. Over the years the company continues to grow and prosper by opening both company-owned stores as well as franchises. In 1982, the company changed its name to VICORP Restaurants, Inc. and purchase Poppin’ Fresh Pies and their bakeries in 1983. In 2009, they became American Blue Ribbon Holdings, and in 2010 VICOM became Legendary Baking. In 2010 ABRH acquired Max $ Erma’s, a causal dining brand with over 75 corporate franchise owned restaurants.
Most recently in 2012 ABRH acquired O Charlie’s and company that has over 300 restaurants in the Midwest. Village Inn has a heritage of serving up hearty breakfasts all day and is building a great reputation for outstanding pies, With approximately 130 company-owned Village Inn restaurants located in the Rocky Mountain Region, the Midwest, Arizona and New Mexico and, in partnership with Village Inn franchises, the total number of Village Inn restaurants is more that 220.
