Marsh Aviation Company
- Aviation & Aerospace
Marsh Aviation Company specializes in repurposing retired military airframes into modern, capable, efficient and cost-effective aircraft – often at a fraction of the cost of similar new aircraft. Many of these upgrades include conversion to modern and efficient Honeywell turbine powerplants with high-performance Hartzell propellers, modern avionics, and structural modification of the airframes to accommodate installation of new mission-specific systems.
Since the 1980s, Marsh is best known and respected for its expertise and success in modifying and upgrading variants of the Grumman S-2 and C-1 family of military airframes. Beginning with a proof-of-concept conversion of a piston-engined S-2A to turbine power, Marsh then developed a turbine conversion for six carrier-based military aircraft for Armada Argentina, the Argentine Navy.
