Most businesses that collect sales tax (retailers, wholesalers, restaurants, etc.), service businesses, and home-based businesses operating in Mesa require a business license. The Mesa Business License, supported by the Mesa Chamber of Commerce, allows the City to provide businesses with timely information and news for operating, especially in cases of emergency. It will also serve to commence a more accessible form for obtaining other permits and code requirements to do business in Mesa.
