Education Forward Arizona - Education-to-Workforce Whitepaper Series
"Today, Education Forward Arizona is releasing the second paper in our Education-to-Workforce Whitepaper Series. The paper, Developing Arizona-Specific Solutions to Common Challenges: What We Can Learn from How Other States Approach Education-to-Workforce Coordination and Alignment, looks at how selected states have worked to better connect education, workforce development, employer needs, and economic opportunity."
Homeowners and Businesses Can Apply for Grants to Support Water Conservation
"After two successful years of saving more than 81 million gallons of water, Friends of the Verde River, in partnership with Salt River Project (SRP), are once again supporting local water conservation projects through the River Friendly Living Grants Program. This initiative provides funding for innovative water-saving projects that benefit homes, businesses, and crucial water ecosystems like the Verde River."
MCC students build Apple IT careers through innovative paid industry internships
"Four Mesa Community College (MCC) students have been awarded paid internships through the Maricopa Information Technology Institute (MITI) providing real-world, paid experience applying the skills they learned in MCC’s Enterprise IT Professional for Apple Technology program."
After nearly 20 years of leading Gateway Bank, Founder, President, and CEO James Christensen will retire on June 1, 2027.
"He will remain on the Board of Directors and the Loan Committee through at least the summer of 2028, keeping a voice in the bank's direction and decisions."
