⚠️ Important Notice: How to Verify Communications from the Mesa Chamber of Commerce

The Mesa Chamber of Commerce has recently been made aware of fraudulent emails and messages circulating that appear to come from our organization. These messages may attempt to collect information, request payments, or mislead recipients by impersonating the Chamber.

We want to ensure our members and community know how to identify legitimate communications and protect themselves.

✅ How to Verify a Message from the Chamber

Here are a few key ways to confirm that a message is truly from the Mesa Chamber of Commerce:

Check the sender’s email address
Official emails will always come from domains such as: @mesachamber.org. Be cautious of emails that look similar but have slight misspellings or unusual extensions.

  • Look for consistent branding and tone
Our communications follow a consistent format, branding, and messaging style. If something feels off, it’s worth double-checking.
  • Be cautious of urgent or unusual requests
The Chamber will not request sensitive information (such as passwords or payment details) through unsolicited emails. If you receive a message requesting urgent action, especially involving payment, please verify it first.
  • Verify links before clicking
Hover over any links to ensure they point to a legitimate Mesa Chamber website or trusted platform. When in doubt, go directly to our official website instead of clicking links.

Contact us directly
If you’re unsure about a message, please reach out to us at [(480) 969-1307] before taking any action.

🚫 What to Do If You Receive a Suspicious Message

If you believe you’ve received a fraudulent communication:

  1. Do not click any links or download attachments.
  2. Do not provide any personal or financial information.
  3. Forward the message to us at [ Info@MESACHAMBER.ORG ] so we can investigate.
  4. Delete the message from your inbox.
