Mesa Chamber Healthcare Committee

The Healthcare Committee was designed to gather healthcare stakeholders within the Mesa
Chamber and address issues shared among the aging population. With appearances made by subject
matter experts, local healthcare providers are able to gather relevant information and identify pressing
matters within the community. The group has previously showcased speakers covering topics such as
food insecurity, healthcare access, COVID-19, behavioral health, and general wellness.

Most notably, the Healthcare Committee has focused their efforts on making Mesa a
dementia-friendly city. With the help of community partners and the city council, this group has made
strides in ensuring that the valley is educated in supporting those with dementia. Open to both healthcare
professionals and businesses eager to learn more about health-related topics, this committee highlights
subjects that impact a wide array of entities in the city of Mesa and beyond.
